Built for the Man
Everyone Counts On.
This brand wasn't built in a lab. It was built in the gap between who I was and who I needed to be for my son, my family, and the work I love.
The Night Everything Changed
At 42, I became a dad for the first time. It was the biggest dream of my life. We adopted our son, and from the moment he arrived, I understood something I hadn't before: being truly present for a child is not a choice. It is a physical demand.
The first months broke my sleep in ways I never anticipated. I had always been someone who slept well. I never understood how people struggled with it. Then our son arrived, and the night feeds started, and I fell off the sleep train. Anyone who's been there knows: it's not just tiredness. It's like trying to think through fog. Every morning.
"I never understood how someone can't sleep after a full day. Until I had a son. Then I understood everything."
When our son turned one, I accepted a job offer — a genuine step up. More responsibility, more complexity, higher quality of work than I had ever done. I love the work. But by 3 PM every day, I was drained. Not tired. Emptied.
And then at 5 PM, my son would come home from nursery.
He'd walk through the door with all his energy, all his need for connection — and I was the worst version of myself. My brain still spinning on a work problem I hadn't solved. My body running on fumes. I was there in the room but I wasn't there.
The guilt of that — the quiet guilt of a man who's giving everything to everyone and still coming up short — that's what this brand was really built to fix.
Running on the Wrong Fuel
I did what most of us do. I tried the obvious things. Better diet. Multivitamins. I started working out again — I've played sport my whole life, basketball, football, ice hockey — so the gym felt like familiar ground.
The workout and the diet helped. But something was still missing. Like a battery that can only charge to 70%, no matter how long you leave it on. A 20-minute dumbbell session that would have been nothing five years ago was now knocking me sideways for the rest of the day.
My stomach churned with a feeling I couldn't shake: I'm 40. That's halftime. I've got at least 40 more years of this game to play. And right now, I'm not even fielding a full team.
I'm not a doctor. I'm not a biochemist or a dietitian. By trade I'm a web designer and an ecommerce builder. But there's something in my personality — call it the researcher, the stubborn journalist — that can't rest until it finds the truth of a thing.
So I dug. Deep. Every blog, every study, every health influencer, every YouTube channel on men's health, hormonal shifts, NAD+, cortisol, sleep architecture. Hundreds of hours. And somewhere in that research, something clicked.
"There was nothing wrong with me. I wasn't failing. I had just changed — and my habits had never caught up."
The problem wasn't lack of effort. The problem was fuel. After 40, your body's chemistry shifts in real, measurable ways. Cortisol stays elevated longer. NAD+ levels — the cellular energy currency — begin to decline. Magnesium depletion accelerates. Diet alone cannot bridge those gaps. Not fully. Not for a man doing what I was doing every day.
I found the ingredients. I built a protocol. I applied it on myself. And slowly — week by week — the battery started charging past 70%.
One System. Built Around Your Whole Day.
My days have always had three distinct stages — the man I am at 7 AM is not the man I am at 2 PM or 10 PM. So why would a single supplement be the answer? I built a system that follows the rhythm of a real day.
This Is Bigger Than Me
When I started telling friends what I'd found — at dinner, on the phone, in the kind of honest conversations men rarely have — they all had the same reaction. Not surprise. Recognition.
Every man I knew was running on the wrong fuel. Most of them were in worse shape than I had ever been. And not one of them had a solution that was built for them — for the man who has responsibilities, who doesn't want to turn into a gym obsessive, who just wants his drive back, his clarity back, his evenings back.
The supplement market is full of products for 25-year-olds who want to be bigger. We're not 25. We don't want to flash the big muscles. We want to be present. We want to lead. We want to feel like ourselves again.
"This isn't a supplement brand. It's a mission. It's what I want to devote my work to from now on — giving men back their confidence, their drive, and their faith in the future."
Lumetriq. The name came with the flame. Lume — light. Because this is about being the light in a dark room. And the IQ at the end, because this is not about brute force. It's about intelligence. Understanding your body. Working with it, not against it.
It's halftime. The second half is yours to win.
Most men over 40 are running on the wrong fuel.
The Restore Bundle is the complete daily system — Rise, Drive, and Rest — designed to rebuild your energy, focus, and recovery from the ground up.

"I built Lumetriq because I was tired of watching men over 40 settle for less — less energy, less presence, less of themselves — without anyone giving them a real answer. You've earned more than that. We all have."
